Forest For The TreesDecember 2017
In collaboration with Object, a Danish clothing company, I installed a one day presentation in Berlin highlighting the Turkish immigrant population in Germany, the largest anywhere. The trees, made of Danish branches, were strung with locally made Turkish simit and anchored to the ground by traditional German brown bread. The installation also included an outdoor campfire for making snobrod, a traditional Danish spitbread, and parchment prints from previously baked breads.
